Steve Jones of USA Today spoke with Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas about the group’s new album ‘3D’, the tribute to the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes that is upbeat, not somber. “Some people thought this was going to be a sad album, but she wasn’t a sad girl,” T-Boz says. “She had a high, happy spirit, and this is a happy album.” Chilli says if ‘3D’ does well, there’ll be several singles to follow ‘Girl Talk’, and eventually a greatest hits album may be released. “We are basically taking it one day at a time,” says Thomas, who has put plans for a solo album on the back burner. “We have so much to deal with, we can’t even get past this.” Read more.
