Chris Brown Deletes MechanicalDummy Twitter Account After Blasting Retailers
Chris Brown checked in with his Twitter followers, angry with retailers for refusing to stock his new album ‘Graffiti’, eventually deleting the “MechanicalDummy” account (which was a verified Twitter account) when media outlets began reporting on his tirade. Brown writes:
I’m tired of this sh**. Major stores are blackballing my CD. Not stockin the shelves and lying to customers. What the fu** do I gotta do…
WTF… yeah I said it and I ain’t retracting sh**
I’m not biting my tongue about sh** else… the industry can kiss my ass

JUST WAS AT WALMART IN Wallingford CT, 844 north colony.. They didn’t even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself
We talked to the managers and the didn’t even know anything. Wow!!! But they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this Tuesday comin.
The manager told me that when there are new releases it’s mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS
No disprespect to Alicia at all.. Just givin an example to who’s album is loaded and ready to go next week

Walmart responded with the following statement:
We are surprised at the comments online. All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford, [Conn.], store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available.

Alicia Keys teamed with Canadian designer Gisele Theriault to launch her own jewelry range called “The Barber’s Daughters”. The Grammy-Award winning singer is in London this weekend to perform on ‘The X Factor’ results show. Alicia said of her collection, “My favorite part of them is not only were they invidivual. One of a kind. Something that you would really cherish and hold, but the words on them affected me so personally, they uplifted me. Made me feel good. Made me want to hold it and wear it. Chris Brown’s Third Album ‘Graffiti’ Out December 7th
Chris Brown has announced the release date for his third album ‘Graffiti’ will be December 7th, following the first single ‘I Can Transform Ya’ on November 30th.
‘I can Transform Ya’ was produced by Swizz Beatz, who is also responsible for Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ current smash single ‘Empire State of New York’ and it features Lil Wayne. The video has just been shot in Los Angeles and was directed by Joseph Khan. The visual channels the Transformers films, with people morphing into cars and graphics. Swizz Beatz and Weezy both feature in the video.
Alicia Keys Comments On Lil Mama & Kanye West VMA Incidents
Alicia Keys visited the ‘Today’ show on Wednesday (September 16), talking with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about the MTV Video Music Awards and her new album. Asked about Lil Mama stepping on stage while she was performing ‘Empire State of Mind’ at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards with Jay-Z, Keys responded, “We can appreciate her being overwhelmed and inspired, but we would have appreciated it if she would have did it from her seat.”
As for that other higher profile on-stage interruption involving Taylor Swift and Kanye West, Keys said, “I think that obviously he knew that wasn’t in the best taste, in retrospect. I think he realized that wasn’t quite the right thing to do.”

Wendy Williams said on her show on WBLS that she refused to expose the relationship between Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. Williams did confirm Alicia Keys threw a birthday party for Swizz at the Guggenheim museum.
