Mary J. Blige attended the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 31). The singer joined Andrea Bocelli in a performance of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ by Simon & Garfunkel at the awards. Mary J. Blige Apologizes For Hating Causes Cancer Tweet
Mary J. Blige is apologizing profusely to her Twitter followers today after earlier suggesting that being a hater causes cancer, prompting those who have battled the disease to take offense. The R&B singer writes:
All you haters please stop hating. God loves me and I know it and that’s why I get what I desire.
Being a hater cause cancer, seriously! I’m saying this because I love you.
To every one showing love!! Thank you!! So much!!!! I will do every thing I can to never let you down.
I’m so deeply apologetic for offending anyone with cancer :-( I love guys so much sincerely and would never do anything to hurt you!
I just got offended myself by some one that said something negative about me.
That’s not like me to go there but im such an emotional human and I slipped.Please forgive me, I’m better than that and will be EXTRA careful next time. I love you guys and am praying for you.

Mary J. Blige: Drake Is A Hip Hop Savior Right Now
Miss Info of Hot 97 in New York City caught up with Mary J. Blige backstage at Summer Jam 2009, where she talked about having a plan to get the people to have fun at the show, how artists have to be giving and unselfish since there’s such a wide demo at the festival shows, and teaming up with Drake on ‘The One’. “This is a savior right now,” Blige said of Drake. “Because it had gotten to the point where women were just bitches and hos and all this other stuff for a long time, and he came alond and said ‘You’re the best. And we like her.’ Like they’re having fun with it. The fun got lost and the women got disrespected but now the women are being respected again. He qualifies because he can spit. I heard his album, he’s incredible. I only wanna mess with people that are really really dope. I don’t care how hot you are, if you’re dope and we have the chemistry.” Watch the interview below.
