R. Kelly is out with behind the scenes footage from his ‘Sign Of A Victory’ music video, which was chosen as the Offical World Cup 2010 Anthem. The Chicago R&B star was greeted with a hero’s welcome in South Africa. “We’re out here in Africa and we’re about to do the World Cup. I feel real good, I feel spiritual right now,” he said at his hotel room. “Of course I’m happy. I’m opening up the World Cup. Everything is in devine order and I’m feeling inspired right now musically and throughout my life, because it’s been a long road.”
Speaking from the stadium before his performance, Kelly got teary. “I just never thought that my music would bring me to South Africa, to perform in the middle of a field such as this,” he explained. “I never thought that my music would bring me to this point… I’ve been through a lot and to actually end up in a place like this, it just says no matter what you go through, you just keep on doing what you do. Keep working hard and you’ll still make it.”

I had such an amazing time last night. The energy at F**k me I’m Famous in Mansion was insane!!! It was Cathy’s birthday and we had a great time. Her Cake was taller than me!!! Kelis and Estelle were there and performed their new singles, which I love! I was nervous and anxious, like i mentioned in the Ustream, but when I hit the stage I felt the inner Commander come to life!

Kelly Rowland checked in with fans on her YouTube channel earlier today, thanking them for their birthday wishes. The former Destiny’s Child star turned 29 today. “I love you guys so much, I appreciate you guys so much for thinking of me, and trust me, I’m working really really hard in the studio to get you a fantastic record,” Kelly says in the video. “I must say I’m so very proud of it thus far. It’s come together beautifully, and I have a special gift on their for all of you guys as well… that’s all I’ll say.”
