The-Dream Apologizes For Heavy Security At ‘Love King’ Listening Party
The-Dream checked in with his Twitter followers on Monday night (May 24) in what sounds like could be the final time he vents on the micro blogging service. The singer was upset with heavy security at his ‘Love King’ listening party earlier in the evening at Stankonia studio in Atlanta. Pictures of the event can be viewed at atlnightspots.com. The American R&B star writes:
Thank You to Everyone that came out and supported to all the DJ’s thanks for being there since the beginning.
And trully sorry about allllll the body guards can’t control what the label does but I must admit that was a little over the top and whoever thought that it was a bright idea to make it so anti social will be jobless come 8am! If you know me like that you would know I’m not that guy just a case of insensitive people over doing there jobs! All I do is walk in and play my sh**. I can’t control everything!
Also not trying to prove anything by not having security it’s not about being scared of sh** I’m West Side! Truth is some people are there for the wrong reasons but I have to say I was surprised at all the security maybe they thought we were at a Michael Jackson listening party!
Trust I know I ain’t worth security guards lol. So once again my apologies for anyone that felt uncomfortable! Hopefully no one’s stupid enuff to think I had security for DJ’s

Chris Brown checked in with his Twitter followers, angry with retailers for refusing to stock his new album ‘Graffiti’, eventually deleting the “MechanicalDummy” account (which was a verified Twitter account) when media outlets began reporting on his tirade. Brown writes:

JUST WAS AT WALMART IN Wallingford CT, 844 north colony.. They didn’t even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself
We talked to the managers and the didn’t even know anything. Wow!!! But they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this Tuesday comin.
The manager told me that when there are new releases it’s mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS
No disprespect to Alicia at all.. Just givin an example to who’s album is loaded and ready to go next week

We are surprised at the comments online. All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford, [Conn.], store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available.
John Legend Pulled Over In Hollywood, Blames Valet

Stars React To DJ AM’s Death
Several R&B stars are reacting on Twitter to the death of DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, after his body was found in an apartment on Lafayette Street. Sources tell the New York Post that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment and authorities are investigating whether it was a drug overdose that took the 36-year-old’s life. Among the tweets:
