I feel that some of you people that are up here are just giving Aaliyah props because she is dead. I loved Aaliyah too but I’m not going to hype her talent, the girl could NOT sing and as far as dancing she was very limited. In fact she didn’t even dance much in her videos, and you can’t really compliment her voice because she didn’t have that many live performances. Not to mention she couldn’t take any credit for her music, she didn’t write produce or anything on her songs. You people talk about Ciara being unoriginal, then what was Aaliyah. She was a carbon copy of Janet Jackson. Ciara is more original than any female artist out right now. She can do more than the regular booty popping, girl can actually pop and lock, and everything. She’s writing her own music and singing about real stuff people can relate to.

You’re obviously a hater. We’re not giving her props because she is dead. We’ve been giving her props before that. Ciara, I’m a fan I like her but she tries to pull off the Aaliyah look, not when she first came out, but later in her career so no, she’s not original. Ciara is DRAG. And so is that girl they’re trying to cast as aaliyah or already have. Ew! She’s DRAG, she cant sing, dance, or act. And she’s a hooe. NOT RIGHT!

I hate to tell who ever wrote this Aaliyah danced in almost all her videos, and when Ciara came out she was introduces to the world as a mix of Janet and Aaliyah, according to Jazzy P. (the man who discovered her). Aaliyah was under rated when it came down to Brandy and Monica, but Aaliyah had Grammy Nods and her 2 movies were huge, so stop hating and give props to all of them.

I loved aaliyah all the negative comments about her are just tedious. She had natural talent and beauty. If she were alive she would be at large to this very day.

Actually, Aaliyah could sing-FACT she kept her voice soft yet beautiful in her recorded tracks but in most of her live videos she showcased her talent. BTW she could dance too she, she danced in most of her videos. Here’s a list.

Aaliyah was the most talented singer there ever was. Her voice was beautiful. I love to see her dance. She was humble and beautiful. She can act and model. People adored Aaliyah because she was different and original. Everyone love to hear her more than some artists today. She Is The Princess of R&B get it to yall heads. How dare u compare Ciara to Aaliyah, when u sit back and compare the 90’s R&B music and now you can tell a whole lot of difference. Aaliyah had a way of experience her songs she actually loved what she does best and that was music and dance. Most of her dance moves was good. Ciara looks at Aaliyah as a role model. But if Aalyiah was alive today i think people would not recognized Ciara, beyonce and the rest. I mean i love ciara but dont ever compare them. People are not acknowledging her because shes dead,its because she was one of the best and her music will forever live in our hearts.

WOW!!!!!! your definalty a super hater….Aaliyah incorprated her style in fashion and looks…she did that…she incorprated her own dance with fatima…you just a hater..not evening gone aruge..and 1 more thing ciara is good I like her..but she jocks aaliyah stlye especially in the early beginging of her career 2 the mid of it..and people were callling Aaliyah the princess of R&B..go on youtube and type of aaliyah and mtv talk…and you said she could’nt sing…wow!!! your a lost soul…Aaliyah ahd mad songs were she showed her vocals..Especially “The One I Gave My Heart to” and “Giving Up”..looks those up and tell me she could’nt sing…R.I.P Aaliyah 1979-2001
