Aaliyah Remembrance And Candlelight Vigil Set For Saturday
On Saturday (August 25), all Aaliyah fans are welcome to gather in remembrance of the singer at Rosewood Mausoleum in Hartsdale, New York. A candlelight vigil honoring Aaliyah’s memory will be held at her Weeping Willow Tree, located in Central Park at 7:00 PM. On August 25, 2001 at 6:45 pm, the lives of Aaliyah and seven others were taken in a plane crash leaving Marsh Harbor, Abaco Island in the Bahamas. Check out more details at myspace.com/aaliyah.
