Alicia Keys Discusses ‘The Secret Life Of Bees’ On ‘Today’
Alicia Keys visited the ‘Today’ show on Monday (October 6) to talk with co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about her role in the new film ‘The Secret Life of Bees’. The R&B singer talked about the book which the book is based on, working with an all-star cast, and keeping busy with the new album and a tour, not to mention the James Bond song with Jack White. Asked about how she prepared for her first big role, Keys responded, “My mother’s an actress. I grew up watching her in the theater, so I really was inspired by her transformation. I love people like Barbara Streisand, who I think straddles music and film very beautifully.” Watch the interview below.
