Alicia Keys showcased her new album ‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’ on Monday (September 15) in an intimate gig in New York. “It almost feels like the first time again in a way, because this is the first time of me as I am today,” Keys told Radio 1. “I feel like I was supposed to be doing music in the 60s and 70s, so a lot of times I think you’ll hear those influences in my music. It’s definitely mixed in with all the hip-hop that I grew up with, the classical, and all the different styles of music that I love. I’m proud of it, and I’m ready to come to Europe, so let’s do the damn thing!”
