Kelly Rowland On CBS Early Show
Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland credits her manager, Matthew Knowles, for the idea of doing her debut solo album, ‘Simply Deep’. As for the rock influences on the album, Kelly told the CBS Early Show earlier today, “I wasn’t sure about it at first. Then he was like, ‘It will be great. You can mix it with some R&B.’ Basically I just put all of my influences on one album. And I just hope that everybody loves the album as much as I loved recording it.” Kelly also gave props to Beyonce Knowles’ sister Solange and talked about the success of ‘Dilemma’, and how she can’t wait for DC3 to get back to work. Usher Could Never Get Fed Up With Admiring Women
Usher chatted with fans on BBC’s Top of the Pops where he was asked if he gets fed up with so many women having the hots for him. Usher insisted, “I don’t think I could ever stop loving that, I’m looking for more! I get mobbed everywhere we go. I did something really dangerous in Stockholm. I’d been working so much that I needed some time off and I went out without any security and nobody saw me. So, we did a performance that night, and I simply tried to walk outside to my bus, but the fans mobbed me!” Read more.
