Keri Hilson Thanks Fans For AIDS Walk New York Donations

Keri Hilson with the ladies

Keri Hilson checked in with her Twitter followers (@KeriHilson) on Wednesday (May 16) ahead of Sunday’s AIDS Walk New York event. The 29-year-old was soliciting donations for the event. Hilson writes:

–if you can’t make it but wanna do ur part to save lives, donate ANY amount–> http://bit.ly/IxuXUF check this out–> http://bit.ly/KjLERs

There’s an option to donate anonymously. Goes under “Keri Hilson” on the list. Just found out abt another DOPE prize to TWO highest donors!

I wish they’d chosen another name tho, that’s a little misleading. It does not reflect w/ my personal donation *whistles off* Anywho!

Big hug to everyone who has either donated their time on Sunday, or their hard-earned money to end the worldwide epidemic that is HIV/AIDS.

…and some of you are donating both time & money! BIG BIG HEARTS like yours can change the world.

John Legend: ‘X Factor’ Judge Britney Spears Can’t Sing

John Legend took a shot at some rival reality singing competition judges in an interview with E!. The entertainment network spoke with Legend and fellow ‘Duets’ judges Kelly Clarkson and Robin Thicke at the EW-ABC Upfront party. “You know it’s interesting. It should be very interesting. I don’t have much to say,” Legend said about ‘The X Factor’ adding Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges. “It’s interesting when people you know who are judging singing competitions when they aren’t really singers. It’s interesting.” Thicke and Clarkson had different views about the subject. Watch their comments below.

Update: John had this to say to his Twitter followers (@johnlegend):

Read my mentions today if you want some entertainment served with a side dish of crazy and a sprinkle of racism.

I’ve never heard Demi’s voice btw. Wasn’t referring to her.

Becc****ber1: @johnlegend LOL at you saying demi can’t sing? I mean who the fu** are you anyway? Thought so, irrelevant fu**.

Sab****yes: @johnlegend Who the fu** are you to say my Idol can’t sing?

Lo****ca: @johnlegend you’re a fu**ing moron, never speak ill of @ddlovato, she is the best, and your a fu**ing idiot.
