Children Serenade R. Kelly At Child Porn Hearing

The Chicago Sun-Times reports was greeted at Cook County Criminal Court on Wednesday with 40 children who donned pro-Kelly T-shirts and helped serenade the singer with his anthems ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and ‘Heaven, I Need a Hug.’ Janet Edmond, who helped organize the bus with the children which took the children to the event explained why kids would cheer on a man with 21 counts of child pornography saying, “Kids need something to reach for–they have no role models.” Suntimes.com has since removed the article.
