Chilli Split Boosts Usher’s ‘Confessions’

Our previous poll asking what you think was the key factor in Usher’s 1.1 million album sales opening week with ‘Confessions’ saw 40.5% say the controversy and publicity with his split with TLC’s Chilli was the primary reason, while 27.7% credited his mega-hit ‘Yeah’. Only 1.1% thought the RIAA crackdown on illegal music downloaders was his primary boost.
