Steve Jones of USA Today profiled Kenya born Lamya ahead of her July 23 debut album, ‘Learning From Falling’ on Clive Davis’ J Records. The 28 year old singer admits of her label boss, “He was actually my imaginary friend, believe it or not, which shows you what a weird child I was. It was him, and then I had this Osmonds album that had (the credit) ‘sweetening by John Kalodner.’ So I’d have my little tea parties with teddy bear, Clive Davis and John Kalodner for sweetening.
