Craig David Doesn’t Tread A Predictable Path On ‘Trust Me’

Time Off magazine recently caught up with , who explained why he teamed up with producers were aren’t the popular hitmaker of the moment on his new album ‘Trust Me’. “Whenever a producer is hot, everyone wants to work with them; whoever’s hot at the moment, whether it’s Timbaland, The Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri or whoever,” Craig explained. “I just thought it takes a really confident step to be able to go with Fraiser T Smith, who was a long-term friend of mine and my guitarist from day one, and Martin Terefe who had worked on records by KT Tunstall and James Morrison. Between the two of them I knew I could get the sound that I wanted.”
