Time Off magazine recently caught up with Craig David, who explained why he teamed up with producers were aren’t the popular hitmaker of the moment on his new album ‘Trust Me’. “Whenever a producer is hot, everyone wants to work with them; whoever’s hot at the moment, whether it’s Timbaland, The Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri or whoever,” Craig explained. “I just thought it takes a really confident step to be able to go with Fraiser T Smith, who was a long-term friend of mine and my guitarist from day one, and Martin Terefe who had worked on records by KT Tunstall and James Morrison. Between the two of them I knew I could get the sound that I wanted.”
