Dan Aquilante of the New York Post spoke with Craig David and asked about how he writes lyrics. Craig revealed “I start to sing, all nonsense words and phrases, and regardless of what the song is about, I’ll use words like girl, lady, baby.” Pressed further, he explained, “I’ve written lines that make no sense, but sound better than what I’m actually trying to say.
