Sister2Sister magazine caught up with Dani Stevenson and asked the new artist most known for singing the hook on Nelly’s ‘Hot In Herre’ about her history and her debut album. “Well, it was kind of a different process with my album,” she tells Carl Overby. “What happened was my producer and me had been recording in his home studio called the Hot Box. It just so happened that we had a 10-song demo that we recorded and all the songs that had been recorded, we played for Universal and they liked each one of them. It ended up that 8 songs out of the 10 demo songs were chosen to go on my record. It wasn’t like I was in the studio trying to find songs. It just all kinda came together on its own.” The full story at s2smagazine.com has since been removed.
