Detroit Radio Stations Drop R. Kelly From Playlist

Adam Graham of The Detroit News spoke with local radio stations on how the child porn charges is affecting how they treat the artist. WKQI-FM (95.5), WDRQ-FM (93.1) have dropped Kelly while WJLB-FM (97.9) will continue to play his tunes. WKQI-FM (95.5) program director Dom Theodore explained, “ is not an artist we can support right now. We’re really not inclined to play anything of his at this point. You ask if something like this affects his airplay? Absolutely.”
