Sources tell The New York Post reports the priciest possessions in the Whitney Houston auction, including pianos, studio equipment and other instruments, are actually items which were owned by members of Houston’s tour group. “A lot of the items didn’t even belong to her,” a tipster said. “They were owned by backup musicians and small vendors,” who had either lent them or asked Houston to store them.
