Floetry Get UK Recognition With Mercury Award Nomination

Marsha and Natalie of told Radio 1 what it meant for them to have their debut album ‘Floetic’ nominated for the 2003 Mercury Music Prize, which ended up going to rapper Dizzee Rascal. “Some more people know our name. That’s it – and all of a sudden our record company over here knows who we are!,” they explained. “It means that we’ve really worked hard, and it’s not just a figment of our imagination – someone else actually agrees! It’s not stopping here – it’s a stepping stone.”
