Gerald Levert: A Soulful Voice Stilled

Gerald Levert, a rhythm and blues talent known for his fiery voice, is dead at 40. The Cleveland-based performer was the son of O’Jays singer Eddie Levert. NPR’s Jacki Lyden has a remembrance for ‘All Things Considered’. Listen to the segment here.
