R. Kelly Seeking $3.4 Million From Rowe Entertainment
The Associated Press reports R. Kelly has won a $3.4 million award against his former tour promoter Rowe Entertainment, and the singer is asking a Los Angeles judge to help him collect. R. Kelly Touring claimed Rowe Entertainment and owner Leonard Rowe failed to pay him in full for shows scheduled for late last year and early 2008, and an arbitrator agreed with the claim. Read more.

‘American Idol’ season six finalist LaKisha Jones wed financial advisor Larry Davis, 30, on Sunday afternoon (October 5) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. UsMagazine.com reports that the R&B singer, 28, wore an Alfred Angelo strapless, beaded gown, Neil Lane jewels, and Stuart Weitzman shoes adorned with the couple’s initials in Swarovski crystals. Robin Thicke’s New Album Inspired By Barack Obama
R&B singer Robin Thicke talked with CNN's Don Lemon about his new album 'Something Else', his politics and his inspirations. Thicke said the new album was largely inspired by Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. "I'm inspired by righteousness and hope and goodness, the same things Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan talk about. Those are the things I like to talk about," Thick said. "So I think Barack cares about everybody, not just a chosen few."Lemon said when he played the music for his family, they assumed the artist was black. Asked what he felt about that perception, Thicke responded, "Well I think of it as a compliment because I'm singing soul music.
