India.Arie Explains ‘Little Things’ Tie-In To Grammys
India.Arie tells Launch.com her first single ‘Little Things’ off her new album ‘Voyage To India’, due September 24th, is about her experience going home empty handed at the Grammy Awards earlier this year. “That right there is the first song on the album for a reason,” she said. “Because it’s the big lesson that I’ve learned last year from the music industry, and what everything I went to last year means to my personal growth. That right there is the lesson put into a song, and right after the Grammys I went on vacation to Jamaica, and I wrote that song while I was in Jamaica.”
