India.Arie Learns Humility After Grammy Losses
Jamie Foster Brown of Sister2Sister magazine chatted with India.Arie and asked her whether she’s learned humility after coming home empty handed at the Grammy Awards earlier this year. “Yeah, I’ve been walking that fine line for a long time in my life,” she said. “Like, learning the difference between loving myself from my ego and loving myself from my heart. There’s a difference. I’ve been learning that from a long time. I really learned more than anything that those awards and stuff don’t make me feel any better about my music.
