India.Arie Pens Vietnam War Song For Mel Gibson Flick
India.Arie’s official site newsletter updated fans today with the following news: “India.Arie recently stepped back into the studio. She’s currently working on her untitled sophomore release, due out this summer. But you can expect another taste of India.Arie much sooner than that. India.Arie has recently penned and recorded a new song, inspired by Mel Gibson’s forthcoming Vietnam war epic, ‘We Were Soldiers.’ The untitled track hasn’t yet been confirmed for inclusion on the film’s soundtrack, but India herself is excited about the tune.”
