India.Arie Says Grammy Losses Were ‘Politics’

India.Arie tells Paul de Barros of the Seattle Times that it took her a little while to recover from being robbed at the Grammys earlier this year, when she went home empty handed after getting 7 nominations. “I was disappointed,” she admitted. “It was the first time I really saw politics at work in my life. I spent a week in Jamaica.”
