John Legend Discusses World AIDS Day On ‘Today’

John Legend chatted with the ‘Today’ show hosts Al Roker and Amy Robach about (RED) Wire, a digital music partnership to benefit AIDS charities. The R&B singer partnered with U2 singer Bono on the $5 per month music subscription service, with proceeds going to buy medicine for those in Africa suffering from AIDS. Legend covered Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’ for the project, which he felt fit the subject matter and the moment we’re in. Watch the interview, aired Monday (December 1), below.
