Kelis Laments Lack Of Sundance Diversity
Kelis updated her Twitter followers in the past hour while at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The ‘Milkshake’ singer tweets:
Ok Sundance is totally fun and everyone is really nice and happy blah blah blah (all true) but seriously it becomes so evident at events like this. Where are the brown people black, Spanish, Asian, Indian anything dang. I mean the “others” lol just a thought…. Mull that over
P.S Bill Gates is here. Dope but obviously super white :) I’m from New York. I’m accustomed to a bit more options lol. Not cause anyone wants it but cause hell, its NY. We are packed in and have no choice. Thus we are better for it. Ok I’m 2 chardonnays in. I’m done. Muah!
