People magazine reports Kelly Rowland has been ducking and dodging in and out of the studio for a month now recording songs. Right now, the Destiny’s Child star will be in the studio to prepare her follow up to 2002’s Platinum ‘Simply Deep’ “I’ve been recording for 2 months now. Working with Rodney Jerkins, Rich Harrison, Cory Rooney, Pharell, and Lil Jon,” she said. Kelly is scheduled to hit the studio with ‘The College Dropout’ in the coming weeks. “We’re trying to recreate that ‘You Don’t Know My Name’ success.” Her new album does not have title nor an expected release date but we are looking at a Spring 2005 release. Kelly has a starring role in a new movie coming out this summer entitled ‘The Seat Filler’ co-starring Duane Martin (of ‘All of Us’) and former Spice Girl Mel B.
