After her 46664 Concert performance in London at Hyde Park on Friday (June 27), Leona Lewis spoke about singing in the event honoring Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday. ‘The X Factor’ winner said it may be the largest crowd she’s ever played for and said she hopes to be much more involved in Mandela’s AIDS outreach charity in the future. Lewis said she had met Mandela on Thursday, and said, “As soon as he walked in the room, there’s like this incredible silence, and everyone was just like in awe of this man.” Watch the brief interview below.
