Tyrese is giving props to Luther Vandross in the new issue of Vibe magazine (before his recent medical problems). Reviewing his 1986 hit ‘Give Me the Reason’, the younger counterpart said, “That’s my mentor. I love something in his throat; he has a one-of-a-kind texture. I don’t care how many fat/skinny jokes come out. Luther is Luther. Whether he’s two pounds or 400, ain’t nobody gonna miss his concerts. No one can ever do what he did for the bedroom scene.
