Luther Vandross’ Mother Chats With Tom Joyner
Luther Vandross’ mother Ida phoned into the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Wednesday (July 28) to tell Tom that her son, recovering from his stroke, is doing even better than his appearance on ‘Oprah’. Ida says the love from the fans is great and is help keeping Luther and herself going. Ida says she lost 83 pounds, getting serious about it after what happened to her son, and other members of her family. Ida then recounted the story about why she calls him “Ronnie”. ‘Write A Love Letter To Luther Day’ is on August 4th. Audio at reachm.wmod.llnwd.net has since been removed.
