Macy Gray On Her ‘Mds’ Appearance
Kate O’Hare of Zap2it spoke with Macy Gray about her recent appearance in the ABC medical drama ‘MDs’. The role called for her to play a singer who may be losing her voice, a tough position for the real-life singer. “You know how you have to get into this emotional thing to get into your character?” Gray says. “They’re asking me, ‘What would you do if you were in this position?’ And I’m saying, ‘I’m not even going to think about that.’ It’s cool, because I’m a singer, but this singer that I am [in MDs] hasn’t made it yet.”
