Mary J. Blige: Don’t Call Me A Legend… Yet

ContactMusic.com reports that Mary J. Blige doesn’t want to be referred to as a “legend”. She said, “They’ve been trying to call me a legend since my second album when I was 22. It’s cool to be labelled as an inspiration by new singers as it means people are still talking about me. But legendary is for Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, and Aretha Franklin. Call me a legend a 60 and I might be comfortable with it.”
