Sonia Murray of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution did a 20 questions with Brian McKnight where the singer revealed what he likes most with a woman. Brian says, “The ability to be everything and nothing at the same time. That person who’s sitting back in the corner, who is completely oblivious to everything going on, but has got it all. It’s a feeling more than something you can put your hands on.”

Usher Dislocates Shoulder Prompting Tour Delay
The Associated Press reports Usher dislocated his shoulder while rehearsing a dance number in preparation for his U.S. tour that was scheduled to begin December 6 in Minneapolis. The injury prompted surgery on Monday in Los Angeles which will have him sidelined for the next 3 months. The tour has now been pushed back to April of 2002.

MTV.com Previews New Brandy Cut
MTV reports while Brandy is still working on her new album tentatively due out February 26, she’s scheduled to drop her first video for the song ‘What About Us?’ next month. The video hasn’t been shot nor has a director been selected, but it should start production in the next two weeks, according to her rep.

Destiny’s Child Christmas Album Does Poorly
Obviously Christmas albums are rarely hot sellers but the “8 Days Of Christmas” release by Destiny’s Child didn’t exactly jump off the shelves, sellin only 24,000 copies in its initial week to debut at #59 on the Billboard charts. Retailers are attributing the poor sales to a somber consumer mood rather than a reflection on the album. In addition, there was little of any promotion for the album.

Alicia Keys Dominates American Music Awards Nominees
Alicia Keys is dominating in the nominations for the 2002 American Music Awards which will take place January 9 on ABC. Other R&B acts up for nominations are the late Aaliyah, Ginuwine, R.
