Josh L. Dickey of the Associated Press spoke with Pink about her switch from her trademark pink hair to blonde as she admits, “It was a joke at first – OK, my name is Pink, let me be really corny and dye my hair pink. It was the only color it hadn’t been, except tie-dye, which is the coolest color you can have. But I felt like people were concentrating too much on pink hair, pink name, R&B chick, all that. And I felt like I made a really classic album, so I just wanted people to focus on that.”
