A reader of The Star newspaper in Chicago e-mailed about the R. Kelly case and although she repeatedly misspelled his name as ‘Kelley’, Jordan Aubey offered an interesting viewpoint. Aubey writes about those siding with Kelly without knowing all the facts yet, “I am quite appalled and confused about how some people refuse to hold such a neutral stance. Some people boldly say with all their might that there is no way R Kelley could have done this. They are quoted saying, ‘The victims’ families ought to be ashamed of themselves for trying to put this upon the head of R Kelley.’ ‘The victim’s families should be blamed and not R Kelley.’ ‘Everyone who ever thought R Kelley could have done something like this ought to be ashamed of themselves.'”
