Remy Shand Isn’t Surprised His Music Has Wide Appeal
Ann Marie McQueen of the Ottawa Sun spoke with Canada’s own Remy Shand, who admits he isn’t surprised his genuine, soulful musical style — influenced by legendary artists from Stevie Wonder to Marvin Gaye — is appealing to such a wide audience. “I think everyone has a lot of that music in their collection,” he said. “So many people have been influenced by that, it’s a part of everything, even hip-hop music started out that way.”
