Alan Sculley of The Detroit News recently spoke with Mary J. Blige on her decision to re-release ‘No More Drama’ this past February with four new tracks, a move that prompted criticsm that she was trying to juice CD sales. She said she did it based on comments received online from fans. “I was giving the fans (what they wanted),” she says. “I’ve got to give to my fans. I cater to them. So there are going to be ones that hate it still and some that love it. But I did it for the ones who wanted to see me look better and the ones that wanted to have the music that they needed in their life from Mary J. Blige. That’s why I did it.”
