Ellen A. Kim of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reviewed the American Idols Live concert on Tuesday (August 26) at KeyArena. Kim says champ and runner-up Clay Aiken “performed a power ballad as well as tracks from their upcoming solo albums… Studdard, coined the ‘velvet teddy bear’ for his musical and physical likeness to Luther Vandross, sang two Vandross tunes and the haunting version of ‘Superstar’ that made him famous. He’s become notably more comfortable after performing, lumbering across the stage to interact with the crowd and crack jokes.” Read more.
