T-Boz Wants People To Learn About Sickle Cell Anaemia

T-Boz spoke with Radio 1 about how she’s dealing with the blood disease sickle cell anaemia, and with those that say she actually has AIDS. “People kept saying I had Aids. I wasn’t ashamed of the fact they were saying something, but it kind of hurt me that they were pointing fingers at me,” T-Boz said. “Like, what if I did? You won’t want to help me, you just wanna talk about me? I don’t want people to feel sorry for me. I want them to learn about the disease, be educated.”

Hi T-Boz! My name is Sharee Greene, and you are such an inspiration to me! I love the way that you keep going and don’t let Sickle Cell stop you. I have Sickle Cell, too. I’ve had 2 major brain surgeries, multiple strokes and seizures. God inspired me to write a book about my life’s challenges. It’s entitled, “In the Midst of it All”. It talks about how God has brought me through in the midst of my sickness. I hope that you get a chance to read this. It’s important for you to keep doing what you are doing. I need, as well as, others need someone who understands to be an inspiration and a voice to us. So far, the mantle has been passed to you. I know you may get tired sometimes, but you have to keep going for the sake of others, your child, and yourself. In the midst of whatever you are going through, T-Boz, God will give you what you need to make it through! I love you, and I hope to hear from you soon! Love Sharee!

Hello T-Boz my name is Sherrie and I too have sickle cell. I am 31 years old with no kids. I have accomplished one thing that I have always wanted and that is I am a Registered Nurse . I also want to have at least one child. I admire you with everything you have done in your life . I just want to help take care of others like myself but the illness keeps getting in the way. I would like to know how do you keep your eyes so healthy and white and not jaundice looking ? I have this problem and would love to have beautiful snow white eyes like normal people. I also would love to write a book about my life and accomplishing the goal of nursing school. Can you give me some advice?
