Blender magazine spoke with City High hottie Claudette Ortiz for their September issue, who exibited a lot of self confidence. “Do I feel sexy?” she asks. “Hell, yeah! I’m slowly getting to appreciate looking at myself. When I started being photographed, I hated it, because I was convinced I looked like a man. Growing up, I was always a tomboy. But now? I feel a woman through and through.”
Gossip guru Flo Anthony talked on K104 about how she’s hearing Arista is thinking about dumping Blu Cantrell over the Black Tail magazine photos. Ryan, Claudette Ortiz and Robbie from City High came on to Radio 1 Tuesday to answer a few questions including working with Wyclef Jean. Ryan said, “Wyclef is executive producer of our album, him along with his partner Jerry Wonder (which is also his cousin). They discovered us and kind of took us under their wing and just exposed us to the world. They helped us come up with some tight tracks for the album and you know here we are – City High… So he’s definitely the man!”

Vibe spoke with City High’s Claudette Ortiz about how she keeps herself looking drop dead gorgeous as the singer revealed her best kept beauty secrets. Ortiz said, “If you don’t have money for a manicure and you need to get your nails wrapped, toilet paper is a great substitute. To clear up a pimple, put toothpaste on it for 10 minutes before you go to bed, rub Vaseline over your face, and when you wake up, your skin will be as smooth as a baby’s behind.” Check out page 118 of the January issue for more advice.
