JoJo Wright of KIIS FM caught up with Colby O’Donis at the station’s Los Angeles studios, where they talked about how Colby keeps up his MySpace and YouTube pages personally and how whenever JoJo posts any videos that have to do with the R&B singer, he gets huge traffic. That prompted JoJo to see how many views he could get to have Colby simply tie his shoes. Watch the video below.
Colby O’Donis Talks About Debut Album, Plays A Few Tracks
Michael Benz of Maximo.tv caught up with Colby O’Donis at the 2008 MTV VMA Awards party at Ivar Club XXX Premiere on September 4th. Colby talked about the release of his debut album ‘Colby O’, which hit stores Tuesday, as well as being single after his girlfriend left him, not being used to the whole lifestyle he’s living. He then sang a few bars off a song dedicated to the split, ‘Let You Go’. Colby followed up talking about some of the dirty messages and pictures he’s received from female fans. After pulling out his guitar, Colby played a few bars of ‘Don’t Turn Back’. Watch the interview below.
Colby O’Donis Discusses New Album, Writing, Dancing
Akon posted an interview with his new artist Colby O’Donis on his MySpace TV channel. Akon writes, “This is my secret weapon He is the real deal I would put him up against any artist his age and then some.” Colby talked about being excited about his debut album, writing everything on the disc, not having a specific writing style, incorporating guitar into his music, having a goal to be “once of the most amazing dancers out there” in a year, the female love, and how he was hustling for a long time before getting his big break. The clip at MySpace.com has since been removed.
