The Sun reports that Eamon’s UK tour dates, which were due to start Tuesday, have been postponed and will be rescheduled for later this year. The singer blamed Britney Spears’ Onyx Hotel tour cancellation for throwing his schedule into chaos. “Eamon had to postpone the UK dates as his band were not rehearsed properly after the cancellation of Britney’s tour, which his band was due to open for,” a spokesman said. “Eamon didn’t want to bring anything but the best for his UK fans. He wants to express gratitude to all the fans who have supported him and looks forward to seeing them on the rescheduled dates.”

Ash bass player Mark Hamilton spoke with Top of the Pops’ website in a Q&A about various pop acts, and was asked for his thoughts on Eamon. “Oh, I think Eamon is great,” he responded. “I suppose initially it probably was a bit of a gimmick, what with all the swear words and that, but it’s better than the slushy lyrics of most pop bands. It’s a lot more real and more like what people would actually think if they were in that situation.”

Frankee started a second week at the top of the British pop charts Sunday with a song that is thought to be a response to second-placed Eamon’s expletive-filled lament about his girlfriend cheating on him. Frankee’s song ‘F.U.R.B. (FU Right Back)’ stayed at No. 1 Sunday, according to the Official UK Charts Company, ahead of Eamon’s ‘Fu** It (I Don’t Want You Back)’, which remained at No. 2.

In an interview with The Sun, Frankee denied a rumor that she and Eamon are good buddies who have teamed up to send both their songs to the top of the charts. “We’re obviously not friends,” she insisted. “He goes all over the place saying how much he doesn’t like me! We’ve not seen each other or spoken at all since this whole thing started and I don’t think we ever want to see each other again. But maybe when it all dies down, perhaps 10 years from now, we can be friends.” Frankee also revealed her attraction to *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. “I go for honest, trustworthy, funny guys,” she said. “Looks aren’t a big deal to me. I’ve always been the sort of girl who dates men who aren’t that attractive. I don’t know why, I’d just rather they be funny than good looking – except for Justin who is both.”
