Atlanta’s V-103 caught up with Kem on the red carpet of the Soul Train Music Awards the other night. The R&B star talked about feeling the pain in his songwriting process and his thoughts about Atlanta. “It’s truly a gift,” Kem said about songwriting. “My only job is to show up and let the spirit do its thing. Kem phoned into the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Wednesday (February 16) to talk about performing on the show’s upcoming charity cruise. Kem talked about how he’s wanted to perform at this event for the past three years, and Tom advised him how to dress.
