Leona Lewis Delays ‘Glassheart’ To Continue Recording

Leona Lewis checked in with fans on her Facebook page on September 26th to announce that that her new album ‘Glassheart’ is now expected to drop next year, instead of November as originally planned. ‘The X Factor’ UK winner writes:

Just wanted to update everyone on the album! I’m feeling so inspired right now and have decided to continue recording! I have a collection of songs that I’m so in love with and I [know] there’s more to be born so it means the album will come early next year x.

Leona Lewis and Avicii are out with the music video to their new single ‘Collide’, off ‘The X Factor’ season three winner’s third studio album ‘Glassheart’, out early 2012 on Syco / J Records. The co-credit for the song was part of a settlement after the Swedish DJ alleged Sony and Lewis had recorded vocals over his instrumental without the consent of himself or his label, Ministry of Sound. British MPs Back Ban On Wild Animals In Circuses Supported By Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis helped lead a campaign that forces the British government to ban the use of wild animals in circuses. The Islington-born pop star weighed in on the debate which took place in the House of Commons on Wednesday (June 22) after 10,000 people backed the ban in a public consultation in 2010. On Thursday, members of parliament agreed without taking a vote to back a motion directing the government to introduce a “regulation banning the use of all wild animals in circuses from July 2012.”

“I know that many MPs agree with the vast majority of the public and would like to see an end to this practice,” ‘The X Factor’ winner said. “Even Defra’s public consultation, carried out last year, resulted in an enormous 94.5% public support for a ban on the use of wild animals in circuses.”

Leona Lewis tells Metro she’s been invited to perform on Simon Cowell’s new U.S. show ‘The X Factor’ when it hits the airwaves on FOX later this year. “They’ve invited me to perform on U.S. ‘X Factor’, so that will be exciting,” the winner of the U.K. version of the program said. Performing on the show would mean new material, so she’s been asked about her third album. “I’ve been working in Europe and the US with new producers. It’s fresh and it’s all coming together with a different sound,” the 26-year-old said.

Leona Lewis Angers Tour Crew With Veggie Only Catering

Leona Lewis is not popular with the crew on her Labyrinth tour of Britain after ordering them to eat the same kind of food she does, vegetarian. “Leona has demanded that only veggie food be made available for everyone – and members of the crew are threatening to quit,” a source told The Sun. “She will not even allow food to be bought off-site then brought in. She is getting a reputation as a bit of a pain in the a*se. She is such a diva. It’s getting out of control.”
