Lionel Richie is out with behind the scenes footage from the recording of ‘Just For You’ with Billy Currington. The track appears on Lionel’s tenth studio album ‘Tuskegee’, out now on Mercury Nashville.
“We have been dancing this dance for the longest time trying to figure out when you’re available, when am I available, can we get you for this song, we change it around and want that song,” Richie said about the Currington collaboration with the country artist by his side. “This is the right song. ‘Just For You’ is the right song and you nailed it.”

Lionel Richie is out with an updated version of his signature hit ‘Endless Love’, with Shania Twain replacing Diana Ross as his duet partner on the 1981 single. Lionel Richie is set to release his new album ‘Tuskegee’ on March 26th via Mercury Nashville, marking the veteran singer’s venture into country music. The 62-year-old teamed up with an all-star list of collaborators, including Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers. Richie told fans:
My new album, ‘Tuskegee’, is a journey of return and revelation. It’s about where I came from and how I arrived at where I am today.
…I’ve come full circle. It’s a validation. It’s a state of mind. A place that represents possibilities, hope, promise, empowerment, and where dreams come true – no matter how old or young you are, or where you’re from.
