Lloyd is out with the music video to his holiday single ‘She’s All I Want For Christmas’. “I guess I have been stuck in the 60s lately. I think that it really has a lot to do with all the music that I grew up listening to as a kid growing up,” the R&B singer told Global Grind. “And I grew up listening to all these people sing songs that really gave me a really good feeling every time I heard him. You know it make you feel real warm and joyful. And so I wanted to interpret that feeling in something original and hopefully give the people of my generation that same feeling that I got, but their own.”

Lloyd spoke with Global Grind in a Q&A, where the R&B star talked about his latest album ‘King Of Hearts’ and where he wants to be musically five years from now. “I see myself continuing to be amongst the upper echelon of my genre, you know amongst music elites,” the 25-year-old said. “I really see myself as somewhat being more hands on with my music, you know producing, writing, composing and performing the music.”

Lloyd hit the stage on Monday night at BET’s ‘Rip the Runway’ for his first televised performance of the new single ‘Cupid’. The R&B singer worked the stage performing the Polow Da Don-produced track while rocking a classic white suit and black tie at the annual runway show where music meets fashion. The performance video at BET.com has since been removed.
Lloyd performed ‘Lay It Down’ live at Oceana Kingston in London. The singer also spoke with Tim Westwood backstage, revealing his tattoos and being secretive about his new joint. Watch the clips via YouTube below.
Lloyd and Trey Songz kicked off the 4-city Love Faces Tour on Friday in New York City playing to a sold-out audience at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Lloyd started off his set dressed in a velvet blazer, white dress shirt, and bow-tie before eventually stripping it off for a performance of his new song, ‘Angel’. The tour also hit Washington DC, Detroit, and Chicago.
