Jamie Foster Brown of Sister 2 Sister magazine caught up with Monica for a Q&A and asked the singer what she’s looking for in a man. “The one thing that I need more than anything else is for him to be strong,” she said. “When I say strong, I mean that in a lot of different ways. I think a weak mind falls prey to everything you can imagine. That’s temptation with other women, that’s not being able to provide for his family, that’s not respecting the most important person in my life next to God, which is my mother. There are a lot of things that I require and people may not realize I had them in the few relationships that I’ve been in. Other things, you know, didn’t take place the way I wanted them to, but those are still the things that are highest on my list. Kandi said she’s going to work it out.
