Monica was just on Z100 and she said they just pushed her album up seven days. Now her album ‘All Eyez on Me’ is expecting to drop on September 10, 2002.

Monica’s Back To Back Appearances

Monica will be on 106 and Park Tuesday July 29th premiering her new video ‘All Eyez on Me’ and might even hit the stage. She also will be on MTV’s Total Request Live premiering her video on Wednesday, August 1st.

Monica To Release ‘Monica’ August 20th

CDNow.com reports Monica has revealed the title of her new album due out August 20th on J Records. It’ll be dubbed ‘Monica’ and the singer described it as a “coming of age” album that she co-wrote. “I’ve never had a self-titled album and since I co-wrote the entire thing, what better timing for one?,” she said in a press release Thursday.

Monica Seeks ‘Serious’ Movie Role & Touts New Album

Associated Press spoke with Monica at a party to preview her new album on J Records – which is due out in July. The singer says she’s looking for a “serious” acting role but has mostly gotten scripts that have been similar to the character she played in the 2000 MTV movie ‘Love Song.’ As for her lifestyle, Monica prefers to keep it low key in Atlanta, “New York is too fast.” If she does hit NYC, she isn’t a partying kinda gal, “You won’t hear about Monica being in a club, because I’m up in my room.”
